Whiskey Tasting

What does whisky have to do with music? According to Eric Paetkau and group of 27, the answer is “quite a bit.”
Please join us for an evening of musical and liquid enlightenment on June 25th at 7:30 pm at B.Street Condos (The Party Room, 783 Bathurst Street) as we taste and talk rye, bourbon, scotch and their connection to Ravel, Beethoven and Shostakovich.
This is your chance to support the innovative work of g27, make new friends and learn how Shostakovich and Scotch are not so distant cousins! More details on poster below.

$50 (inclusive of alcohol)
$40 (excluding alcohol)

Build Your Own Symphony

Build Your Own Symphony

June 19, 2015

8pm – Trinity-St. Pauls-Centre

It’s a party and you’re invited! Not only are you invited but YOU get to choose the music!

Because group of 27 has some of the finest musicians in Toronto, they’re able to perform at the highest level even while sight-reading. Enjoy a party atmosphere as you, the audience, choose each movement of a symphony the orchestra plays – right there on the spot. Through clapping, hand-raising, smart-phone voting, and even an auction, you pick four different movements to make a symphony!
